The Season 2 of The Big Bang Theory episodes started airing on 22nd September 2008. The season which is supposed to air a total of twenty-two episodes has already aired its seventeenth episodes on 9th March 2009. The season also saw a mid-season break of nearly one month from 15th December 2008 to 12th January 2009. The season took the story of Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter, the two hyper intelligent physicists who also share an apartment and their beautiful neighbor Penny, forward from where it was left at the end of Season 1. In this season also the cast was supported by the creepy Howard Wolowitz, who thinks himself to be equally sexy and bright, as well as Rajesh Koothrappali, who finds his tongue gagged in front of women. The next episode i.e. Episode 18 of the season is supposed to air on the 16th March 2009.
